In 2004, Ryo Ishikawa formed his own label, VANQUISH.
The brand concept is “To embody a stylish masculine ideal. VANQUISH follows the latest trends and suggests its own playful style.” VANQUISH has created a broad range of collections from casual to semi-formal.

On Oct.19th, 2010 VANQUISH held its Spring/Summer 2011 catwalk show at Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo.

VANQUISH has collaborated with various high profile brands. From A/W 2010 VANQUISH has worked with adidas to produce “adidas Originals for VANQUISH”. In 2011 VANQUISH and Hiroshi Fujiwara started the “DENIM BY VANQUISH & FRAGMENT” line.
And VANQUISH released “SKIDGRIP VQ” as the first collaboration with CONVERSE in 2012S/S.
In Jan.2011 VANQUISH teamed up with Japanese rock band KUROYUME for a guerrilla concert in Tokyo. The event made headlines not only in the fashion press but on major news sites like Yahoo!.

VANQUISH has 11 stores nationwide in Japan in department stores or fashion boutiques in major cities including Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
In Mar.2011 we opened a store in ZOZOTOWN, which is one of Japan’s largest online shopping malls.
Concurrently, we’ve been affiliated with I.T. Apparel Ltd. (HK) to develop overseas business from 2010S/S. And JUICE (TW) also began to sell VANQUISH from 2011A/W.

In Sep. 2011, the VANQUISH flag ship store in Shibuya 109 Men’s relocated from 6F to 3F (which is considered a better floor) and revamped as the innovative and new concept store.
The customers can enjoy the leading-edge audio-visual presentation systems, e.g., the huge-sized screen composed by nine panels and the interactive hanger system called “Team lab hanger”. This technology enables our customers to easily imagine if our products fit.

2010年10月19日には、第11回「東京発 日本ファッション・ウィーク(JFW in Tokyo)」に初参加し、恵比寿ガーデンホールにてランウェイ形式のファッションショー、「VANQUISH 2011 Spring/Summer COLLECTION」を発表。

コラボレーションパートナーは多岐にわたり、2010A/W より、adidas社と『adidas Originals for VANQUISH』を共同プロデュース。2011S/Sからは藤原ヒロシ氏とタッグを組み、『DENIM BY VANQUISH & FRAGMENT』をスタートさせる。
